Bright Flower Garden

Bright Flower Garden - I decided to make a GFG, but not a traditional one; I used brights from my stash, purchasing only the green fabric for the background. The quilt is this size because these are all the bright prints that I had at the time. It is peaceful to sit and hand piece the octagons. Lona did a beautiful job quilting it freehand; there are bees in the corners and squiggly line between the flowers, like the flight patterns of the bees.
