Wildyam Himilayan Beauty - Last year's round robin from the Fiber Divas (my art quilt group) was inspired by photos we each selected for inspiration. We each then created our interpretations of each photo. This piece was inspired by a photo taken by Anita Furbush of Holderness, NH while she was hiking in the Himilayas. I made all entries for the challenge with my felting machine (my challenge!). Piece was created on a foundation of Timtex, with wool fabric, wool felt, Wool roving, soy silk, silk fiber, and embroidery thread stitiching.
