Broken Star - I made this broken star quilt for my parents 45th wedding anniversary. The colors were the colors in their room and the squares and triangles around the star were quilted with the names and birthdate of their five children and their grandchildren, also included were their names and the date they married. They enjoyed the quilt for twenty one years until my mother passed away. I now have the quilt back and will pass it on to one of their grandchildren.
