Free to Fly - This was a "Baker's Dozen" block exchange with a subgroup of my Guild. We each make 13 blocks, keep one and exchange the rest. The challenge was for batik butterflies on an amish black background. I used King Tut variegated thread to handquilt, and while it doesn't show well in the photo, looks beautiful on the amish black fabric.
