latpatt Ostrich Challenge Thousand Islands Guild - I made this quilt as a guild challenge, we were assigned a round with different requirements each month. Two colors, triangles, applique etc. and you could put your head in a hole and be an ostrich and not do a round, hence the name Ostrich. I put an ostrich face o the front and the body on the back. To make the head hair I used anglique fibers and only fused a portion so they were left fluffy.
