Katiezquiltz What's In A Rainbow? - I am fascinated with rainbows and when asked to make a mandala quilt for a show at the Medford, OR Library, I had one image in my mind and decided I would just do it. My stash gave me 140 different fabrics and I added 169 Swarovski crystals. My mandala friends said this quilt is me. It feels like me and I am quite pleased with this art quilt. The biggest challenge was to get a round piece 22" in diameter to stay flat against the wall. A little engineering and I did it without macrame rings - those are for the next quilt.
