Lily's Rose - Quilt was made by enlarging and printing a photo on fabric sheets. The sheets are then reconstructed, thread painted, machine quilted and framed with two mitered borders. The picture was taken by Lily Kerns a teacher with Quilt University who teaches Digital Fabric. The technique is by Beth Wheeler in her book Altered Photo Artistry and in episode 211 of the Quilt Show.
