Rockinrobin Garden Gifts - These flower blocks were completed as a Block of the Month project through my local quilt shop, Sew 'n Sew in Fort Bragg, CA. The posie border is a combination of small nine patches and some leaves I learned to make in a Barbara Dieges class. The completed quilt includes a piping stem running through the border that I saw on Simply Quilts. When completed, I knew this would be the perfect birthday present for my sister, Cris, for a 'milestone' birthday this year. Cindi Jo did a lovely quilting job of vines, leaves and echo quilt designs as well as freehand on each individual bloom.
