Design Source - Description | I started with some "ugly" fabric for the color scheme. Sliced, shuffled, and piece the curved background blocks. The stem and leaves were cut free form and fused to the quilt top for raw edge applique. The flower head is 3-D stuffed petals and center. I started echo quilting around the flower and stem and then my BSR took control of my hands. This was really too much quilting for the busy background but it sure was fun to do. |
