JANICECS Canning season - I saw a similar quilt at the Dallas Quilt show in 2006 and decided to try the pattern. I got the pattern off of the internet but had to make some corrections to make the lid fit. I collected the fabrics at the Dallas Quilt show, Jo-ann fabrics and my sister gave me the some fabrics. I was very pleased with the fabric I found for the jar lid, it has a nice stripe on it. I used a check for the base to look like the shelf paper that granny might have used.The backing and the binding is a multi vegetable print.
