GrannyFran Nine Patch Animals - Crib quilt top started for grandson, Alex. In my campaign to clean up my WIPs this year (2009) I am going to add additional borders to make it larger than a crib so that Alex can still use it. I am going to have someone else machine quilt it, since I've had two mini strokes that make it difficult for me to machine quilt (I haven't been able to hand quilt since I waited to learn to make quilts until I had severe arthritis in my hands.) I used the background quilt pattern but didn't add the appliqued basket and flowers in the original design.
