Design Source - Description | I made this miniature quilt following a workshop in 2003 by George Siciliano called "Size Really Does Matter." Using foundation piecing, the quilt contains 28 blocks with 38 pieces per block for a grand total of 1, 064 pieces. After I finished the center four blocks, I thought I would quit; did a few more, then seriously thought about quitting after 16 blocks. But why quit when I was so close to finishing? And when I finally finished, the sense of accomplishment was amazing. It has one small flaw but I seem to be the only one who sees it. The best tip I learned was to use double sided tape to match seams. |
