Design Source - Description | I love Iowa...and thankfully Iowa seems to like me too with the amount of teaching I do there. But Iowa is also the home of APQS...the maker of my beloved "George" sewing machine (a treasure to a small studio!) APQS asked if I would make them a quilt for display in their booth and I gladly went to work. I was also deep into watching the HBO miniseries "John Adams" at the time...there is a scene where he is walking thru his wheat fields and I immediately thought of Iowa (I know J.A. was in Mass....but its my story) and went to work. |
