seaglassStitcher Pinwheels for Kids - Our children's hospital in Halifax is the IWK. The Mayflower Quilters in Halifax sell 40 Challenge packages of 5 pieces of fabric for $10 - evey one gets the same five pieces. The $400 from the sale of these goes to the IWK. The quilters' Challenge is to create a 'quilt' not smaller than 60" in perimeter, not more than 120" in perimeter from these pieces. Quilt to be donated to the annual quilt fundraiser in March where they will be auctioned off and money given to the hospital... the quilters have to use 3 of the 5 pieces in the bag, and can add 2 from their own stash. This one is made from the pinwheel design and I embellished it.
