Design Source - Description |
I was inspired by the oddly shaped strip farms I espied one wonderful, clear flight. I saw a Mesoamerican mask in my final design, which led me to base my quilting patterns on ancient Mexican motifs. The two catfish represent the Mayan Hero Twins, Xbulanque and Hunahpu, who later became the sun and moon. Photography by artist. |
