anilee Heavenly Angels - The story goes: a customer brought me 2 1/4 yds. of the angel fabric and asked me to make a King Size (104" X 104") quilt for her son for Christmas. She also did not want the angel fabric cut up too much. She wanted it showcased. I struggled and struggled with how to create such a large quilt with so little fabric. Then I found the fabric that made me think of clouds and started designing. I finally came up with the large stained glass window you see here. I quilted it with a feather design that looked like angel wings.
