Design Source - Description | This quilt was a PROCESS of taking a huge mistake and creating a quilt that actually worked. Thinking that I was cutting the background fabric strips the correct size I zipped through 15 strips before I realized I was cutting the background fabric the size of the twist or focus of the block! I ended up reversing the block into a positive/negative set and came up with this twist. My granddaughter has a limited color pallet that also gave me this challenge to complete something that I think she will like. The pillowcases are an added bonus and really set it all off. Whew!! I can't get her sister's quilt done before Christmas so it's going to have to be set aside. |
