WEST1E Fireworks - I always wanted to do a Lone Star quilt. When I saw the Spiral Lone star by Jan Krentz's I knew that it was the one. This is larger than the original pattern. I wanted the inset blocks to be 12" finished. I don't like doing inset corners so I designed corners that eliminated that problem. I'm having problems with the quilting so I need to do some ripping (not in photo) It will be quilted in all metallics in all the colors of the quilt, then embellished in crystals too. I want it to look like one large firework burst.
