Design Source - Description | After my first quilt class in 1981, I tackled this machine-pieced and hand-quilted quilt. I tried to coordinate the colors to match one I found in a quilt book: Scrap Quilting. I was born in Nashville, TN and thought the Tennessee Waltz was appropriate for my first project! It took me 25 years - I obviously didn't work on it continuously - but when I was chairing my club's quilt show in 2006, I used that opportunity to finish the quilt so it could be in the show. I made it! I named the quilt "My Tennessee Waltz". It hangs on the wall in my quilt studio now. |
