cblong03 Double Wedding Ring - I started this quilt in 2006, before I knew I wasn't supposed to be able to make such a difficult pattern. I've worked on it on and off over the last 2 1/2 years and finally finished it this month! I used Sharlene Jorgenson's templates and instructions. I hand pieced the connecting corners, but the rest is done by machine. In the spirit of this quilt, I figured I'd go ahead and stretch my beginner free motion quilting skills and do feathers in each of the rings (marked, of course!). As soon as I get a label on it, it's going to live in New Hampshire with my friend from 1st grade. I love the 30's reproduction fabrics, but it isn't my decorating style.
