Mrs.A Big Island Anthurium - While living in Hawaii, I took a workshop with Jane Sassaman that challenged me to do original work. Anthuriums, the native flower of the Big Island, are easy to draw. I once thought that applique was the A word but Jane's techniques enabled me to make this quilt and many others.
