jcarkeet Patriotic Picnic Quilt - I made this quilt to go with a picnic basket and supplies for a summer fundraiser at church. I like the Sawtooth or Lone Star block, so I pieced the squares and then played around with sashing and such until I found something that suited. It was my first time quilting with a long arm machine. When it was finished, I loved it so much I couldn't part with it, so I made my husband buy it back at the auction.
