coffeequilts Another Day In Paradise - This quilt is a compilation of the many wonders of nature to be found in Costa Rica. I live not far from a famous surfing beach and that was the inspiration for my design. For the beach I hand quilted a bead with every stitch. It was an arduous task but a great affect when completed. I also picked up small shells on the beach. I drilled a small hole, cleaned and varnished the shells and sewed the shells in the sandy areas. I hope you enjoy viewing this.
