blueearth Healing Heart - I started this because I needed some hand work while on a 3 month overseas vacation. I finished it sitting by my mother's bedside while she was recovering from open heart surgery. UPDATE: Ironically, this quilt will be featured on June 15th which is my mother's 90th birthday and once again I am sitting by her hospital bedside (10 years later) as she is losing her battle with heart disease.
