Design Source - Description | I made this quilt for my daughter to use for a bedspread. I finished the quilt twice. The quilt was not large enough for their queen size bed so I took off one side, added two more rows to the width, reattached the borders and quilted the additional rows and rebound it. The quilt measures 82" x 104. Mom and dad helped me put the quilt in mom's quilting fram and mom helped me quilt it. Mom and dad would come to my house each afternoon after I got home from work and we would quilt for a couple of hours. She was in the early stages of Alzheimer's and I had to mark a line for her to quilt otherwise she would get confused. It was the last quilt she worked on. |
