florence Love Blooms - Traditional pattern, but used Ricky's trapunto method for the first time in the quilting--stitching the trapunto/quilting design on the back of the top using disolving thread and water-soluble stabilizer, then sandwiching and quilting from the front, using the disolving thread as the marking for the quilting... like magic! Most of the trapunto is simple Celtic knots, along with a few doves scattered across, since this was a wedding gift for my best friend. Fabric is all from Old Blooms by Pat Sloan for P&B Textiles.
