SandiMako Five Years of Tumbling Blocks - My first and only handmade quilt from start to finish. I had lots of scrap fabrics in jewel tones and wanted to try English Paper Piecing. I vowed to do it all by hand - piecing, quilting and binding. I learned a lot on this quilt, but only worked on it periodically over five years while waiting at school activities, doctors appointments and traveling. I also learned that I prefer machine assembly and quilting, but like having something to take with me.
