Irises

Irises - This was made as part of the WAQs (Whimsical Art Quilters) of Ukiah, California class. We learned to play with and have fun with Tsukeneko inks. Flower was traced on fabric from book and then I colored the fabric sky blue, the irises with shades of purple and then thread painted some highlights in. (Yeah, I know there was probably an easier way to go about it!)
