SusieQMcF Mariner's Compass - I downloaded this EQ project from Electricquilt.com several years ago and just got around to making it. I wish I could remember the name of the designer! I found the different-sized compasses to be very cumbersome to put together, so I added thick piping and appliqued all 5 to a background square. The border blocks are Y blocks, using Cheryl Malkowski's "Fun with One Block Quilts" directions. Her method is very easy, wish I'd thought of it! Machine quilted on my old black Singer with variegated shiny "Rainbows" thread by Superior Threads.
