RainbowBrite Overlooking the Bay- Part 2 - This quilt uses Silhouette Quilting and I made Part 2 for my friend, Karen, for Christmas. She saw the Part 1 version last summer and requested a similar design for her Beading Studio. I free-motioned the sky using yellow and orange variegated thread and added a nest (embellished with variegated wool). The Blue Heron stands tall overlooking the bay with silver beads simulating water splashing onto the rock.
