QUILTNBUG Hawaii Calling - I made this quilt for a challenge at my quilt guild. I have been following Ricky Tims instructions on making a rhapsody quilt. Once I got the initial design up, the colors reminded me of a sunset in Hawaii. I filled the areas with applique images of memories of a trip I took there. I heavily quilted this, unfortunately you can not see the quilting. There are feathers and hibiscus quilted in black thread around the outside border.
