Design Source - Description | A stallion from a nearby barn inspired this quilt. While I was photographing him, he seemed to just glow in the hot summer. I played with sheers in the quilt to add a little zing and intensity. The yarn has angora in it to add a softness that this stallion also had in his personality. The quilting is very dense and added a painted feeling to the piece. It was a finalist at the International Quilt Show in Houston 2008. My first quilt show and I got in. Yipee! |
