Blisstwin Hearts and Flowers - I designed this layout and borders and used a pattern for the heart from a pattern called Sweet Memories. This was my first applique quilt and I enjoyed so much making this quilt. It was a challenge - a new challenge, I should say, to learn to applique and it has now become one of my favorites. I hand stitched and machine pieced the quilt - long arm custom quilted by my dear friends Victoria and Michelle - Creative Quilts, Galt, CA.
