Spice - Our quilt guild was challenged to make a quilt using two quilt blocks, used any way they wished. I used the Shoo Fly block and the Eight Pointed Star block with color placement to come up with this design. I loved planning out the color placements and deciding just what the fabrics and colors would be. What I ended up with is nowhere near what I had in mind when I started out.
