Design Source - Description | This is an original design begun in a Quilters Day Out thru my quild, Cobblestone Quilters Guild in July, 2007. Our challenge was to use triangles. I wanted to use black and white. Naturally a little red is called for. In determining how much red to use, I decided to use 9 red triangles as my tribute to our fallen 9 firefighters of June 18, 2007 Sofa Superstore fire. I quilted it with Zebra Rainbow thread from Superior (love that thread!). I used the Perfect Spiral from Thimbleworks to draw my 5 intercepting spirals. I used Ricky's piped binding that I do my way. |
