Design Source - Description | Serendipity was the way that this one came together. When my nana was living I traced her hands on a calender page along with my aunt and mother and hand appligued them to snow ball blocks. in their palms there is each member's initials. My brother wrote a poem that was printed on fabric and appliqued on oven mitts which was a family joke cause Nana and the mothers never used them. Our generation always did. There are two of these quilts that were made and now that Nana is gone they are very special. My mother lives with me so I get to enjoy one. |
