betsblues Visual Treat for Sherrie - This is a Christmas and Birthday gift for my sister Sherrie. She has visual problems and I thought the vivid colors and patterns would create visual interest for her. I started fabric selection with the white with black circle fabric, I found on sale for a $1.00 a yard. She's not necessarily a cowgirl, but I think we all like bandana print. So I worked with that. It's made up of mixed single fabric and nine patch blocks set on point. I signed it prominently on the front with hand embroidery to discourage theft, as she lives in a rehabilitation home.
