mms61371 Grandmother's Magnolia - My Grandmother was an oil painter and her speciality was magnolias. I took an image from one of her many paintings and drew it on a large sheet of paper. The drawing was then dissected in many pieces. I used freezer paper foundation piecing to construct this beautiful memory of my beloved Grandmother. She has been gone 17 years now, and everyday I still thank God for putting that beautiful woman in my life.
