cblong03 Mommy's Quilt - The wonderful ladies at a local quilt shop helped pick a book to start to teach myself how to quilt (1st and 2nd quilts were squares and a rail fence, respectively, made with not-quilt-shop fabric). They helped me pick the pattern and then the fabric. I loved the fabric so much (I'd never felt good fabric before!), it's still my favorite everyday bed quilt. I told my little one, "It's Mommy's quilt!", when he'd try to drag this monsterous full-size-plus quilt away. The previous square quilt (2004) was his and the rail fence (2004) was for my husband (until he got the sampler), so this one was just for me!
