ashgrovemo Mali - I used fabric from Mali purchased from The Quilt Show store to make a Priority Mail Quilt for Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative. The center applique is a map of Mali with the Niger River in gold metallic thread. Beautifully patterned yellow with orange, yellow, and black with orange fabrics surround the map. Varigated and metallic threads were used to outline and highlight the fabric. I am approximately $5 from raising $1000 for alzheimer's and this small quilt will help me reach my goal.
