Design Source - Description | After a long time away from hand quilting and a wonderful trip back to Hawaii, I decided to capture the feeling of Hawaii in this quilt. It is the color of the water there and here at home in Destin. My new husband had never seen my hand-quilted work so I thought I'd better prove I could really do it! I used batik fabric with a bit of gold painted on in the shapes of shells. It was enjoyable and very relaxing. |
