Design Source - Description | This was a class I took years ago and never finished. I decided to finish it, only to find out that I didn't have enough main fabric (blue). So, I found a companion fabric in black, added some hand-dyed fabric to coordinate, then made enough blocks to finish it. Rather than a rectangular quilt, I made it 6-sided, to reflect the basic block. Since the fabric has cats, fish-bones, and mice in it, I had my quilter quilt fish-bones and mice into the borders. As you can tell, my cat loves it. |
