| Design Source - Description | This is a story quilt inspired by the poem "The Spider and the Fly", a cautionary childrens tale written by Mary Howitt in 1821. I discovered the illustraed story by Tony DiTerlizzi by accident and was completely drawn in by the eerie illustrations and the dark tale. I wanted to do my own illustration in the form of a quilt. |
