Design Source - Description | I have a very dear friend Violet who has been a quilt mentor to me. She is 89 years old. I saw a quilt she had done with this block and loved it. I had the same fabric she used but I was a little short so she gave me her leftover fabric. This quilt has been completely pieced by hand and is in the process of being hand quilted. I may be 89 by the time I get it finished. (I am 45). I set my blocks a little different from hers. I staggered mine because I thought it looked like picture frames on a wall. |
