scottishquilter Mum's quilt - This was my very first quilt made many years ago with cardboard templates and scissors. The fabric used was cotton dresses and blouses that belonged to the family. As I didn’t attempt another quilt for a long time it lay unfinished for many years until my Mum went into a Nursing Home. I finished it and donated it to the home so they could raffle it to make some money for the home
