scottishquilter New Beginnings - This wall hanging was made as a wedding present for my daughter Kim. For each of them it was a second marriage and I thought that a Phoenix rising up from the past and going forward happily into the future summed up what their new lives together was going to be. I used my own hand-dyed fabric for the majority of the piece and made all the bias binding myself.
