Jessimina My first wall hanging - I made two small table runners before this project. This was my first real quilt (at least I think of it that way). While they are hard to see in this picture, I quilted stars around the outside border in light violet/purple metallic thread. I am way too new to try free form quilting so I used a template, and straight stitched the stars.
