Liane's Turtles

Liane's Turtles - My daughter-in-law, Laura, made this quilt for her second child (our second grandchild), Liane Elizabeth. This pattern caught Laura's attention when it was published in 2004 and this was the quilt she wanted to make for Liane's birth. This is Laura's first quilt to to piece totally by herself. Taking care of two little girls didn't leave her much time to work on it so she finished piecing the quilt top and then let me quilt it and bind it. Laura and I enjoy working on quilts together.
