nyashley First Baby Quilt - I just picked out some fabrics and started sewing! I heard you should use polyester batting for baby quilts, but in the end I've found I prefer cotton. But practice makes perfect! I thought for sure my sister was having a girl, but now we've learned she's having another boy! Oh well, I guess they'll have to try again. I added some embroidered hearts in the middle, because I'm an experienced embroiderer, but this was only my first quilt, so I thought I should jazz it up a little.
