Design Source - Description | This pattern dates back to the 1860's so I chose Civil War Reproduction fabrics. The quilt is a representation of my summer. The fabrics are from a Quilt shop that was noted in a National magazine as being on the "Ultimate Shop Hop" and it happened to be not far from where we were going on summer vacation in Waxahachie, TX. The block is what my Quilt Club worked on in July and the quilting designs and binding method is from an instructional DVD from Ricky Tims that was in my goody bag I got on my visit to see a taping of The Quilt Show the first Sunday in August. |
